Since its acquisition in 1979 by family patriarch Jerry E. Boone, Grandview and the Boone family have been closely intertwined.
Current Administrator Michele Boone and her sister, Lisa, were raised in a long term care setting. They spent many hours playing in the hallways and common area, interacting with residents and even sharing many major holidays including Christmas. Their nursing facility experience is life-long, family based and deeply rooted, and their commitment is strongly held. Caring and compassion aren’t just characteristics that they bring to their jobs; these traits are inherent to who they are – and have become the defining hallmark of Grandview.
